The
Western Committee on Plant Disease Digital Image Collection
The
Western Committee on Plant Disease slide set collection will be replaced
with digitized images on CD-ROM in 2007. Each of the slides from the
original slide collection will be scanned at 600dpi, allowing each image to
be printed at photo quality to a size of up to 8 x10 inches on photographic
paper with no distortion. The images have also been enhanced through
the scanning process to eliminate the discolouration
associated with the age of some of the slides, and the removal of scratches
and dust particles.

Images
can be selected by clicking on the thumbnails on the left of the window
which calls up a larger image (in this case Bacterial spot of Tomato from
the Vegetables collection)
Each
Digital Image collection lists the Pathogen and the English and French disease
and host names.
